  2.     NETWORK HOST CONFIGURATION
  3.  
  4.     You can use this module to modify network parameters such as the
  5.     I.P. address, netmask, and broadcast address for a particular host.
  6.     When you choose this command, the Network Host Configuration window
  7.     will appear, as shown below.
  8.  
  9.     Highlight which host(s) you want to modify and click on the Modify
  10.     button to bring up the Modify Host Configuration window.
  11.  
  12.     This feature is not supported on NT.
  13.  
  14.     The rest of this section describes how to modify your host's network
  15.     parameters.

  17.     Modify Fields
  18.  
  19.     This window contains the following fields:

  21.     Hostname
  22.  
  23.     This view-only field shows the host whose configuration is currently
  24.     being modified.
  25.  
  26.     Interface
  27.  
  28.     This view-only field shows the network interface name.
  29.  
  30.     I.P. Address
  31.  
  32.     You can use this field to change the current hosts IP address.
  33.  
  34.     Netmask
  35.  
  36.     You can use this field to specify a new netmask. This is used to
  37.     implement IP standard subnetting.
  38.  
  39.     Broadcast Address
  40.  
  41.     You can use this field to modify the host's broadcast address.

  43.     Modify Buttons

  45.     This window contains the following buttons:

  47.     Modify
  48.  
  49.     Click on this button to save the new network host configuration.
  50.     This will modify the address for the specified host naming services.
  51.     Enlighten will prompt you to confirm your action.

  53.     Warning! Be cautious if you're modifying the only host configured
  54.     for your network. If you then reset your I.P. address, you might not
  55.     be able to immediately access Enlighten.

  59.     Click on the Next button to view and/or modify additional host
  60.     configurations if you've selected more than one to modify.
